Report: Cardinals to claim OT Harrison

The Arizona Cardinals will claim offensive tackle Desmond Harrison off the waiver wire, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Thursday. The Cleveland Browns waived Harrison on Wednesday.

By league rules, the Cardinals can't put in a waiver claim for him until later Thursday afternoon, but they have first claim on the waiver wire. Rapoport said the 25-year-old lineman already was spotted in an airport headed to Arizona Harrison played his rookie season in 2018 with the Browns as an undrafted free agent. He started the first eight games, but when coach Hue Jackson was fired, Harrison was benched and didn't play again.
