Cardinals claim OT Harrison from Browns

The Arizona Cardinals claimed offensive tackle Desmond Harrison off the waiver wire on Thursday. The Cardinals had the first claim for the 25-year-old lineman, who was waived by the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday after he missed the first day of minicamp.

Head coach Freddie Kitchens told reporters Harrison missed a flight and was "a little late." He added that the team "just decided to move on." Harrison, who began his college career at Texas, played his rookie season in 2018 with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Division II West Georgia. He started the first eight games, but when coach Hue Jackson was fired, Harrison was benched and didn't play again.
