Twitter Lite app expands to 21 more countries

Twitter Lite Google Play app is now available in more than 45 countries.

Twitter announced on Monday the expansion of its Twitter Lite app which minimizes data usage, loads quickly on slower networks and takes up less space on your device. The app, which was introduced last year is now expanding across 21 more countries and can be downloaded from Google Play Store.

The 21 countries include Argentina, Belarus, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Morocco, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Romania, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, Uruguay, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.

Twitter Lite makes more accessible, fast, and data-friendly with features like:

• Data Saver mode to save data in real-time and make Twitter available accessible to people with data, bandwidth, and device constraints.
• At an install size of 3MB, Twitter Lite saves data and space, and loads quickly on unreliable networks.
• Push notification to keep users updated to the happening around the world.
• Other features include bookmarks, night mode for a darker theme, and threads.
