Samsung commits to secure Galaxy devices for even longer

Samsung's defense-grade security platform 'Knox' and advanced secuirty technologies such as the embedded Secure Element (eSE), a secure processor to protect against physical attacks and the new Knox Vault offer unmatched security to Galaxy devices.

Samsung's Galaxy devices including the Z, S, Note, A, M, XCover and Tab series, will now receive at least four years of security updates after their initial release, the company announced on Monday.

"By extending support for security updates delivered on a monthly or quarterly basis, Samsung is giving users peace of mind knowing their data is protected for as long as they use their Galaxy device," the South Korean technology giant said in a statement.
