Samsung launches two new budget smartphones in India: Check specs and prices

Samsung on Monday launched two new budget smartphones - Galaxy F12 and Galaxy F02s - in India. While the Galaxy F12 boasts a 90Hz display and a massive 6,000mAh battery, the Galaxy F02s comes with an HD+ display and a 5000mAh battery.
Starting April 12th, the Samsung Galaxy F12 will be available in Sea Green, Sky Blue and Celestial Black colors and two memory variants- the 4GB+64GB model priced at Rs 10,999 and the 4GB+128GB variant priced at Rs. 11,999.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy F02s will go on sale on April 9th. It will be available in Diamond Blue, Diamond White and Diamond Black colour options and is priced at Rs 9,999 for the 4GB+64GB model and Rs 8,999 for the 3GB+32GB variant.
Samsung Galaxy F12: Specoifications
The Samsung Galaxy F12 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Widevine L1 certification. Under the hood, it has an Exynos 850 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of storage.
For photography, you get a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide lens with 123-degree field of view, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth camera with Live Focus. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie snapper.
The device is backed by a 6,000mAh battery and runs on Android 11 out of the box with One UI 3.1 core on top.
Samsung Galaxy F02s: Specoifications
The Samsung Galaxy F02s features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. The device runs on Android 10 with One UI 2.5 core skin on top and is fuelled by a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.
In terms of optics, the handset has a 5MP front camera while the triple camera module at the back comprises a 13MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens and a dedicated 2MP depth camera with Live focus.
