Malaysia PM: Competition should not lead to bifurcation in technological world

Competition should not lead to division in the technological world, as that would only increase costs and impede progress, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said on Thursday.

Certain guard rails need to be established so that the competition does not lead to bifurcation in the world of technology, Anwar said at the Boao forum in the southern Chinese island province of Hainan.
