OxygenOS 14.0.0.500 rolling out to OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G is receiving a new update, labelled OxygenOS 14.0.0.500, in India, which incorporates the February 2024 Android security patch and a couple of bug fixes. More specifically, this build fixes an issue where photos might not be displayed when you open your albums as well as the issue that might cause some apps to crash.

As usual, the OxygenOS 14.0.0.500 update is rolling out in a staged manner and will reach a limited number of users today. You can also manually check for the update by going to the phone Settings > System > System Updates.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G: Specs

The device boasts a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED FHD+ display and an in-display fingerprint sensor for quick biometric authentication.

Powering the Nord CE 3 5G is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G Mobile Platform, paired with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Battery life is robust, thanks to a 5,000mAh battery which supports 80W SUPERVOOC charging technology.

The camera system on the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G features a triple-lens setup led by a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). This is complemented by an 8MP ultrawide camera equipped with a Sony IMX355 sensor and a 112-degree field of view, alongside a 2MP macro lens for close-up photography. A 16MP front-facing camera rounds out the photographic capabilities, ensuring high-quality selfies and video calls.

The handset comes in two color options - Aqua Surge and Gray Shimmer.
