EKA Mobility Strengthens Leadership With New Appointments

EKA Mobility has announced the appointment of Vijaykumar Yelne as President, along with Murali Raju as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Zoeb Karampurwala as Chief Product Officer (CPO). These leadership changes follow a significant investment from Mitsui Co and VDL Group, aimed at expanding the company's electric vehicle market footprint.

EKA Mobility, a leading electric mobility firm, announced on Thursday the appointment of Vijaykumar Yelne as President. Additionally, Murali Raju has been named Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Zoeb Karampurwala has taken on the role of Chief Product Officer (CPO), according to an official company statement.

The leadership changes come in the wake of a substantial Rs 850-crore investment from Japanese firm Mitsui Co and the Netherlands' VDL Group, secured late last year. In March 2024, EKA Mobility appointed Nobuyoshi Umezawa from Mitsui Co as its Chief Strategy Officer.
