Axiscades Appoints Tanmoy Chakrabarty as Non-Executive Independent Director

Engineering solutions provider Axiscades has appointed Tanmoy Chakrabarty as a non-executive independent director for three years, effective from July 13, 2024. Chakrabarty brings over four decades of experience in corporate strategy, government affairs, and digital transformation. His expertise will be pivotal in driving the company's growth in diversified verticals.

Engineering solutions provider Axiscades announced the appointment of Tanmoy Chakrabarty as a non-executive independent director for a term of three years, starting July 13, 2024, as per an exchange filing on Tuesday.

With over four decades of experience in corporate strategy, government affairs, and digital transformation, Chakrabarty has been instrumental in the implementation of numerous government programs, including MCA 21 and Passport Seva. He has also spearheaded digital tax initiatives in East Africa and contributed to eGovernance programs in the UK and US.

Chakrabarty previously held roles at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Eureka Forbes, Bradma of India, Siemens Nixdorf, and Electronic Data Systems. Commenting on the appointment, Arun Krishnamurthi, CEO and MD of Axiscades, highlighted Chakrabarty's significant leadership skills and deep understanding of complex systems, which will be crucial as the company expands its operations in aerospace, defense, and heavy engineering sectors.
