Karnataka Launches ESDM Brand at Mysuru Tech Show, Eyes Global Leadership

The Government of Karnataka, in collaboration with the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission and India Electronics and Semiconductor Association, unveiled the 4th edition of 'Mysuru: The Big Tech Show 2024'. This event highlights Karnataka's commitment to becoming a global technology leader, showcasing significant investments and initiatives in the ESDM sector.

The Government of Karnataka, in collaboration with the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission and the India Electronics and Semiconductor Association, has unveiled the 4th edition of 'Mysuru: The Big Tech Show 2024'. This move marks a significant step in the state's ambition to become a global technology leader.

In conjunction with the tech show, the Karnataka Electronics System Design and Manufacture (ESDM) Brand was also launched. As part of this initiative, India's first ESDM Tech Yatra to Mysuru was conducted. The event aims to display the readiness of the Mysuru cluster to global leaders in the ESDM sector. Representatives from over 30 companies explored key facilities and infrastructure across Mysuru, including ESDM EMC 2.0 and Vidyawardaka College.

Karnataka's Information Technology Minister Priyank Kharge emphasized the state's commitment to innovation, projecting over Rs 600 crore in new investments and the creation of 5000 jobs, predominantly for women. This initiative aims to position Karnataka as a global leader in the ESDM sector by fostering a collaborative ecosystem that promotes investment and growth.
