The tech giant highlighted new functionalities, including a Pixel-only screenshot search and a Gemini chatbot overlay that can assist within any app. The earlier release date indicates Google's intention to stay ahead of rivals, particularly Apple, which is slated to release its new iPhone in September.
Besides the smartphones, Google announced new iterations of the Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds Pro. The company also revealed a partnership with fitness giant Peloton, enhancing the value of its Fitbit Premium service with access to Peloton training classes.
