Soyuz Capsule Touches Down After ISS Mission

A Russian Soyuz capsule landed in Kazakhstan, returning two Russian cosmonauts and a U.S. astronaut from the International Space Station. Roscosmos cosmonauts Nikolai Chub and Oleg Kononenko, along with NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson, completed their missions spanning 374 and 184 days, respectively.

A Russian Soyuz capsule landed safely on the Kazakh steppe on Monday, successfully returning two Russian cosmonauts and a U.S. astronaut to Earth after their tenure on the International Space Station (ISS).

The Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft, carrying Roscosmos cosmonauts Nikolai Chub, Oleg Kononenko, and NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson, touched down at 1159 GMT. Kononenko and Chub had been aboard the ISS since last September, participating in a 374-day mission, while Dyson's mission lasted 184 days.

The return marks the end of an extensive mission for the cosmonauts and a significant shorter stint for Dyson, who joined the ISS crew later. The successful landing highlights ongoing international cooperation in space exploration.
