L'Oréal has unveiled its 2025 Big Bang Beauty Tech Innovation Program, targeting the South Asia Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa (SAPMENA) region including India. This initiative aims to scout startups to participate in a competition offering commercial pilot opportunities with L'Oréal's 37 international brands, exposure in 35 SAPMENA markets, and year-long mentorship with senior executives.
The expanded competition now covers Australia and New Zealand and focuses on five challenge themes: Consumer Experience, Content & Media, New Commerce, Tech for Good, and the new 'Science for Beauty' theme. Previous winners include Bengaluru-based startups Live2.ai and NeuralGarage, highlighting India's potential in the field.
The program underscores L'Oréal's commitment to innovation, offering a platform for startups to collaborate with key partners like Accenture, Google, and Meta. The grand finale will take place in Singapore in November 2025, where finalists stand a chance to lead groundbreaking beauty tech innovations.
