HDW Acquires Deltatech Gaming: Expansion in Online Poker

In a significant move for the online gaming sector, Head Digital Works (HDW) announced its acquisition of Deltatech Gaming Ltd, the parent company of Adda52, a renowned online poker platform. The deal, valued at Rs 491 crore, underscores HDW's strategic push to dominate the digital skill-gaming space.
The transaction, set to execute in two phases, will initially see HDW acquiring 51% of Deltatech Gaming. Following this, Deltatech Gaming Ltd will be integrated into HDW, marking a substantial expansion of HDW's gaming footprint.
Deepak Gullapalli, HDW's Founder and CEO, emphasized the company's ambition to not only bolster its poker offerings but also enhance growth by exploring novel opportunities. Post-merger, DeltaCorp Ltd will retain a 5.7% stake in HDW, aligning with the company's goal to create a comprehensive skill-gaming platform in India.
