Colt Data Centre Services (Colt DCS) has announced the inauguration of its new hyperscale data centre, Inzai 4, situated in Tokyo, Japan. This expansion marks the latest venture following a collaboration between Fidelity Investments and Mitsui & Co., Ltd. reinforcing Colt DCS' position in the Asia-Pacific data market.

The initial phase of Inzai 4 is operational at 4.8MW, with the full site set to deliver 20MW, ultimately elevating Colt DCS' Inzai capacity to 70MW. The entire facility has already been pre-leased, demonstrating strong demand for Colt DCS' solutions. Colt DCS continues to be a leading player in the global data centre industry, offering flexible services to its clientele.

Developed under Colt DCS' Global Reference Design (GRD) guidelines, Inzai 4 incorporates sustainability features such as reduced water waste and low-emission cooling systems. As the pioneer of hyperscale data centres in Inzai, Colt DCS has plans underway for an Inzai 5 facility, leveraging the area's strategic advantages like stable infrastructure and government support.
