Gaming Industry Unites for Ethical Standards: A New Era in Responsible Gaming

The All India Gaming Federation, the Federation of Indian Fantasy Sports, and the E-Gaming Federation have jointly signed a code of ethics to promote user safety and responsible gaming. This initiative aims to enforce consistent standards and ensure accountability via measures such as KYC verification and spending limits.

Three major industry bodies representing the online real money gaming sector have come together to sign a groundbreaking 'code of ethics' aimed at promoting user safety and responsible gaming. The All India Gaming Federation, the Federation of Indian Fantasy Sports, and the E-Gaming Federation will require member companies to adhere to the new guidelines.

The code emphasizes the importance of user safety and responsible gaming by implementing measures such as stringent KYC verification, spending limits, and age-gating, ensuring accountability and transparency throughout the industry. It will be applied to all online gaming operators offering skill-based real-money gaming in India, safeguarding the interests of millions of gamers.

Despite challenges like regulatory implementation and state-level bans, these industry bodies are setting new benchmarks for ethical practices, as highlighted by E-Gaming Federation CEO Anuraag Saxena. This collaborative effort marks a significant step towards building a sustainable and globally competitive online gaming ecosystem in India.
