Trailblazing Innovation: Pravaig's VEER Electric Vehicle Honored with iDEX Award

Bengaluru-based Pravaig has won the iDEX Award for its VEER electric vehicle, celebrated for its advanced technology in defense. The honor underscores India's commitment to sovereign defense technologies, reducing dependency on foreign systems. Pravaig's all-terrain vehicle is powerful, stealthy, and represents India's technological leap in national security.

The Bengaluru-based EV startup Pravaig has achieved a significant milestone with its VEER electric vehicle, securing the prestigious iDEX award from the Ministry of Defence. This accolade recognizes the vehicle's technological innovation in its design, specifically its support for forward patrolling and ISR operations.

Atima Corporation, a subsidiary of Pravaig, has also been honored with the iDEX Award for its VEER electric tactical all-terrain vehicle. This award, conferred under the Department of Defence Production, highlights the effort to deepen India’s sovereignty by developing cutting-edge defense technologies and reinforcing strategic autonomy.

The initiative known as iDEX-Innovations for Defence Excellence has been underway since May 2021, aiming to foster innovation and technology in the defense sector. With Pravaig's VEER being entirely 'built in India, for India', it symbolizes a step towards ensuring India's control over its military technologies, reinforcing national security autonomy.
