In a significant move aimed at boosting India's electronic hardware ecosystem, Brandworks Technologies and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) have signed a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement focuses on providing start-ups with necessary resources, expert mentorship, and vital infrastructure to drive innovation.
This collaboration involves the newly launched vertical BIRF (Brandworks Innovation Research Foundation) which aims to foster innovation and strengthen India's manufacturing prowess. With structured programs targeting over 200 startups within the next five years, the MoU seeks to navigate the challenges of scaling hardware start-ups to global markets.
This agreement not only supports the 'Make in India' vision but also positions India as a pivotal player in the global electronics value chain. By ensuring end-to-end support for emerging innovators, the partnership guarantees a robust foundation for India's electronic future.
