Cekura, an artificial intelligence startup founded by alumni of IIT Bombay, is poised to expand its operations to India following a successful funding round of USD 2.4 million, as announced on Thursday.
The startup specializes in providing advanced testing and observability solutions for voice and chat AI, allowing development teams to simulate a large volume of conversations efficiently, supervise production calls, and derive actionable insights from the data.
Co-Founder Sidhant Kabra highlighted the drastic reduction in testing time from weeks to mere minutes as a major milestone. This innovation has attracted over 75 clients within a year of joining the US-based incubator Y-Combinator. Kabra confirmed that the recently raised funds will bolster their workforce by hiring more engineers and expand their reach to enterprise clients, including the establishment of a new Bangalore office.
