State-owned enterprise BEML has forged a strategic partnership with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the Foundation for Science, Innovation and Development to spearhead research and development in critical sectors such as aerospace and defense.
This tripartite agreement encompasses joint R&D efforts in rail and metro systems, mining and construction equipment, maritime technologies, next-generation mobility, and advanced green technologies.
BEML CMD Shantanu Roy emphasized this collaboration as a reinforcement of the company's commitment to indigenization and technological leadership. The partnership aims to produce groundbreaking innovations and intellectual property, aligning with national priorities.
