Uber has announced the appointment of Balaji Krishnamurthy as its new Chief Financial Officer, a role he will assume on February 16, 2026. He is set to succeed Prashanth Mahendra-Rajah who will transition to a senior finance advisor role until July of the same year.
Having joined the ride-hailing giant in 2019, Krishnamurthy brings years of financial expertise to the table. He has held multiple leadership positions, most recently serving as Vice President of Strategic Finance since 2023, and played a crucial role in investor relations between 2020 and 2023.
Dara Khosrowshahi, Uber's CEO, expressed his trust in Krishnamurthy, highlighting his strategic acumen and close work with the management team. Krishnamurthy will receive a substantial remuneration package and looks forward to reinforcing Uber's position as a leading global technology company.
