Microsoft founder Bill Gates was welcomed by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the state secretariat on Monday. The visit marks a significant opportunity for collaboration on health, agriculture, education, and technology-based governance initiatives.
Gates, along with local ministers, discussed the expansion of health projects and introduced plans to leverage AI within the state. The Gates Foundation is actively involved in health projects in the Chittoor district, with discussions centered around scaling these efforts for broader impact across the state.
The visit also included a showcase of the Real Time Governance System and a presentation on the "Swarna Andhra 2047" vision. Gates visited a farm in Undavalli village to observe the deployment of drones and AI, reinforcing the state's commitment to innovation.
