The IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026 achieved a remarkable feat by being inducted into the Guinness World Records. The summit recorded 250,946 pledges from students in just 24 hours, urging them to use AI responsibly, far exceeding its original goal of 5,000.
Guinness World Records Adjudicator Pravin Patel officially announced this achievement, observing that the record-breaking effort reflects a widespread commitment to ethical AI practices.
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw attributed this milestone to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It showcased a robust outreach to educational institutions that helped execute the pledge campaign successfully.
