Bharat Forge has announced the opening of a state-of-the-art landing gear components machining facility in Mundhwa, Pune. This strategic collaboration with Liebherr Aerospace & Transportation SAS signifies a major advancement in India's aerospace manufacturing sector.

The facility, equipped with advanced machining centers, positions Bharat Forge as a front-runner in offering OEM-approved landing gear machining capabilities. This expansion marks a critical step in strengthening India's supply chain role in the global aerospace industry.

Vice Chairman Amit Kalyani noted that this joint venture lays a strong foundation for sustainable growth in the Indian manufacturing industry. Martin Wandel of Liebherr emphasized the facility's alignment with global aerospace needs, aiming to enhance both military and civil aviation sectors.
