Vice President C P Radhakrishnan has emphasized the role of artificial intelligence as a transformative force in governance and various sectors, speaking at the 5th Dr Rajendra Prasad Memorial Lecture on 'AI for Good Governance'.
Radhakrishnan lauded India's efforts in leveraging AI, pointing out initiatives like the national AI-powered language platform Bhashini. He praised the impact of AI in making parliamentary papers accessible in multiple Indian languages and highlighted AI's transformative role in healthcare, agriculture, MSMEs, and other domains.
He underscored the significance of government initiatives such as the India AI Mission and the Anusandhan National Research Foundation. The recent AI Impact Summit in Delhi showcased India's leadership and potential in the AI arena, reaffirming its position in global AI rankings.
