GalaxEye, a Bengaluru-based space startup, launched its groundbreaking Mission Drishti satellite on Sunday aboard the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from California.

Mission Drishti is the world's first OptoSAR satellite, integrating electro-optical (EO) and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) sensors, promising enhanced data acquisition in any weather condition.

Founder Suyash Singh reported global interest in the OptoSAR's technology, which aims to support defense, agriculture, and disaster management. The milestone launch solidifies India's role in the space industry.
