Boosting Sustainability: SED Secures Major ZLD System Contract
Spray Engineering Devices Limited has won a contract to deploy a Zero Liquid Discharge system for RenewSys India's solar PV facility in Hyderabad. The project highlights SED's role in sustainable industrial water management, providing an advanced solution to recover water efficiently from wastewater while ensuring environmental compliance.
Spray Engineering Devices Limited has secured a substantial contract from VA Tech Wabag Limited to design and commission a 300 KLD Zero Liquid Discharge system for RenewSys India's solar manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. This collaboration aims to amplify SED's footprint within India's burgeoning solar sector, emphasizing water efficiency and resource recovery.
The deployment incorporates SED's state-of-the-art MVR-based Low Temperature Evaporation technology, enabling the system to recycle 90-94% of water from industrial effluents. The initiative not only aids in attaining Zero Liquid Discharge but also significantly reduces freshwater usage.
With India's focus on bolstering domestic solar manufacturing, SED's involvement underscores its commitment to delivering sustainable and cost-effective water management solutions across various high-tech sectors, underlined by tightening environmental standards.
