IITM Expands Global Footprint with U.S. Deep-Tech Launchpad

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras Global Research Foundation opened its first U.S. center in California's Menlo Park, enhancing India's deep-tech innovation globally. The $7.5 million investment, coinciding with the SelectUSA Summit, aims to accelerate deep-tech ventures and strengthen U.S.-India innovation collaboration.

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras Global Research Foundation has expanded into the United States with its first center located in Menlo Park, California.

This strategic initiative was announced during the SelectUSA Investment Summit. The facility, representing an investment of $7.5 million, is positioned to bridge Indian deep-tech startups with global market access and innovation.

The Menlo Park location aims to serve as a hub for startup incubation and deep-tech commercialisation, while further plans include establishing a second center on the U.S. East Coast.
