Chinese wireless device manufacturer Quectel Wireless Solutions has initiated legal proceedings against the Pentagon following its inclusion on an American list of entities purportedly assisting Beijing's military operations.
The incorporation of Quectel into this list by the Pentagon occurred in January, sparking strong denial from the company, which argues that this action has led to significant economic repercussions.
Quectel emphasizes that it solely produces civilian equipment, such as cellular modules and antennas, utilized in automotive infotainment systems and other smart connected electronic devices.
