Essar Group's IT subsidiary, Black Box, has successfully acquired 2S Inovações Tecnológicas SA, a prominent system integrator based in Brazil. This strategic acquisition is expected to bolster Black Box's presence in the burgeoning LATAM market.

Sanjeev Verma, the Whole-Time Director and CEO of Black Box, stated that 2S brings significant expertise in Cisco networking, enterprise infrastructure, and cloud services. These competencies will complement and enhance Black Box's existing capabilities in digital infrastructure and technology integration.

The transaction, which is expected to add Rs 500 crore annually to Black Box's revenue, is set for an effective acquisition date of May 1, 2026, marking a notable step in the company's global expansion strategy.
