Citi hires Jaschke to lead West Coast life sciences tools M&A coverage

Citigroup ​has hired Eric Jaschke, ‌a former ​JPMorgan healthcare banker who moved into industry roles, as ‌a director in its healthcare investment banking unit, according to an internal memo seen by Reuters.

Jaschke ‌will lead West Coast coverage of ‌life science tools and diagnostics as well as digital biology, and will be based in San Francisco, starting ⁠on ​June 1, ⁠according to the memo by healthcare managing director Charles ⁠Adams. * Jaschke most recently served as vice president ​of finance and business development at DNA sequencing ⁠firm Ultima Genomics, after earlier working as senior director ⁠of ​investor relations and strategic finance at genomics firm 10x Genomics.

* He spent five ⁠years at JPMorgan, where he left in 2020 ⁠as a ⁠vice president focused on tools, diagnostics and medical technology.
