UPDATE 2-White House postpones Trump's AI signing ceremony, say sources

​The White House has ‌postponed its planned Thursday ceremony for President Donald Trump ‌to sign a new executive ‌order on AI and cybersecurity, two sources familiar with the ⁠matter ​said.

Axios, ⁠citing an internal note, was ⁠the first to report ​the news. The order would create ⁠a voluntary framework for AI developers ⁠to ​engage with the U.S. government about ⁠the public release of covered models, ⁠two ⁠sources told Reuters on Wednesday.
