The world is just gearing up for superfast 5G networks but controversies about the new technology are already viral. A Youtube video purportedly shot in California's Sierra Madre claims that honey bees under "5G poles" are dying. The authenticity of the video is not confirmed yet but the clip is already viral on social media platforms and has sparked intense debates.

There are over 300 comments on the video on Youtube itself, with many supporting the person who shot the video while several others refuting the claims. Several scientific studies have also linked the decline of honey bees to mobile radiation and cell phones.

Here is the Youtube video where it all started.

The debate has also stormed Twitter and many people are posting their views about the matter.

Some people have also commented that 5G towers or poles are not installed in Sierra Madre but it could not be confirmed immediately.
