Postponed Libertadores final rescheduled for Dec. 9 in Madrid -CONMEBOL

The postponed Copa Libertadores soccer final between rival Argentine clubs River Plate and Boca Juniors will take place on Dec. 9 and be played in Madrid at the Real Madrid stadium, organizers said on Thursday.

The South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) disciplinary committee also said it would fine River Plate $400,000 for fan violence, and that the team will be required to play two games behind closed doors.
