Swedish govt extends COVID measures to support companies

Sweden will extend the period during which it will provide wage support and income compensation for companies hit by the coronavirus pandemic and measures to halt its spread, Finance Minister Magdalena Andersson said on Monday.
"The aim is to save Swedish companies and Swedish jobs," Andersson told reporters.
Andersson said the extended measures, which also included an extended tax payment holiday, would cost around 15 billion Swedish crowns ($1.75 billion). ($1 = 8.5766 Swedish crowns)
