Cardamom Prices went up by 1.26 percent today

Cardamom prices went up by 1.26 percent to Rs 1,446 per kg in futures trade today as participants built up fresh positions amid an uptick in demand in the spot market.

Besides, tight stocks position on fall in arrivals from growing regions supported the upside.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in October month shot up by Rs 18, or 1.26 percent to Rs 1,446 per kg in business turnover of 12 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders after pick up in demand in the spot market against restricted supplies from producing belts, mainly pushed up cardamom prices in futures trade.
