China announces six-month campaign to promote NEV sales in rural areas

Several Chinese ministries announced a six-month campaign to promote the sale of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in rural areas, the industry ministry said on Thursday.

A total of 69 NEV models from firms including BYD , Honda Motor and Volkswagen will participate in the campaign, which starts from June, the ministry said.
