Like many tech companies, Kaseya established its early roots in Silicon Valley, California, but beyond that, Kaseya's journey has been far from typical, or so says their CEO, Fred Voccola.

One of Kaseya's co-founders, Gerald Blackie, was originally from New Zealand, and knowing the inner workings and importance of international markets, he helped build a company that had a global footprint, even headquartering Kaseya in Dublin, Ireland for many years.

Ireland made establishing a business simple, from financial incentives and government assistance to university partnerships. The Irish Strategic Investment Fund, mandated to invest on a commercial basis to support the economy and employment in Ireland, is an investor in Kaseya.

Although the company relocated its headquarters to Miami in 2018, Kaseya's Irish roots are still strong with more than 500 employees in the company's Dublin and Dundalk offices. Kaseya's CEO Fred Voccola wants to grow that number by at least 1,000 over the next two years after seeing the high quality of talent in the country.

With over 50,000 customers worldwide, Kaseya is not only growing in Ireland but across Europe. It is hiring across all areas of the company, unlike many US-based companies that only expand their sales, services, or support to Europe. This is part of Voccola's disciplined and proactive expansion strategy that he implemented when he took over as CEO in 2015.

"We are aggressively hiring across the world on every team we have," said Voccola. "It is about more than just being able to say we have a team in most corners of the globe; it is about having enough resources in the region to make a difference there – not just for our customers, but in the communities surrounding our offices."

With this, Kaseya plans to more than double its European workforce in the next 12-18 months. Additionally, Kaseya is also increasing resources for its Global Partner Program- a tiered rewards program for Kaseya partners based on the company's loyalty- by 300% to account for Europe's growth.

Other US-based companies tend to group countries outside of the U.S. or Canada together and call themselves "international". As CEO, Fred Voccola ensures that Kaseya's strategic plan for overseas takes culture into account and treats every region according to its social norms and practices.

As a work-from-office company, Kaseya offices all over the world are filled with people who are from the region, meaning they understand the customs and values of the customers they are servicing. This allows Kaseya to better focus on fostering customer and partner relationships.

Across Europe, Kaseya currently has about 900 employees. Voccola's goal to double the workforce would make Kaseya one of the largest technology employers in Europe.
