Nestlé’s Nespresso to invest US $43.26m, aims to augment production capacity at Romont unit

Nestlé's Nespresso recently declared that it is planning to invest a gigantic amount of US $43.26 million into the manufacturing of two more production lines at its factory based in Switzerland's Romont. The company experts believe that the new creation will meet the growing demand of the customers. Currently, the company has three production facilities in Avenches, Orbe and Romont.

Nespresso (an operating unit of Nestlé Group) unveiled its third factory in Romont in 2015. The company reportedly pumped out an average fund of US $300 million. The present factory is the primary production site for Nespresso Vertuo. The new expansion will create 33 additional jobs at the site in the next two years. Presently working in 14 nations, the company is looking forward to expanding new markets each year.

"We are proud to continue to invest in our factory in Romont to support our Vertuo business, a strong contributor to our future growth," Jean-Marc Duvoisin, CEO of Nespresso opined.

The company has already pumped out large figures of around US $48 million to expand the production capacity and make innovation facility. The product development center is giving its best to develop new Nespresso machines and Grand Cru coffees alongside the coffees from rare origins. Even a small-scale production facility is also dedicated to experimenting with varied coffee experiences.

The CEO, Jean-Marc Duvoisin further added that the new facilities would play a pivotal role in offering consumers the latest developments in sustainable, high-quality coffees and personalized customer service.
