The German military will not receive the first Puma fighting vehicles being modernized by industrial partners until early next year, the defence ministry said in a statement on Monday.

Due to necessary retrofitting work, particularly on the software, the vehicles will now be handed over to the military in February 2024, instead of the end of 2023, the ministry said. (Writing by Miranda Murray; editing by Matthias Williams)
