Battery Smart and Zepto: Powering Greener Deliveries with Major EV Initiative

Battery Smart has partnered with e-grocery platform Zepto to provide delivery partners access to over 1,000 battery-swapping facilities, enabling Zepto's fleet to deploy 10,000 new electric vehicles (EVs) by FY25. This collaboration aims to facilitate last-mile deliveries, increase delivery efficiency, and contribute to the adoption of electric mobility.

Battery Smart announced a strategic partnership with e-grocery and quick commerce platform Zepto on Monday. The collaboration is set to grant Zepto's delivery partners access to more than 1,000 battery-swapping facilities, significantly enhancing their operational efficiency.

This initiative will enable Zepto's two-minute battery swaps in over 30 cities and support the deployment of 10,000 new electric vehicles (EVs) by the fiscal year 2025. Yogiraj Gogia, Senior Director of Partnerships and Fleet Business at Battery Smart, emphasized the importance of this partnership in promoting green last-mile deliveries and encouraging the adoption of electric mobility.

Zepto COO Vikas Sharma highlighted the collaboration's benefits, including increased delivery efficiency and earnings for delivery partners. With access to Battery Smart's extensive network of battery-swapping stations, Zepto is poised to meet its operational goals quickly and sustainably.
