The bellwether stock closed at Rs 3,021.25 on the BSE after climbing 5.65%. Intra-day transactions saw its value soar to Rs 3,029.90, setting an all-time high.

Similarly, on the NSE, the stock rallied 5.58% to end at Rs 3,020.65, with intra-day peaks hitting Rs 3,029. The company's market capitalization increased by Rs 1,09,248.31 crore, reaching Rs 20,44,084.84 crore, solidifying its position as the most valued company in India.

The broader market also reacted positively, with the 30-share BSE Sensex jumping 2,507.47 points or 3.39%, closing at 76,468.78. It even soared to a lifetime high of 76,738.89 during the day.

This market buoyancy is partly attributed to exit polls predicting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government will retain power for a third term, as the BJP-led NDA is expected to secure a majority in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. The counting of votes is slated for June 4. Notably, Reliance stock has already appreciated by 16.88% this year.
