A tragic incident occurred in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, as a mini-bus skidded off the road and plummeted into a gorge, resulting in one fatality and 14 injuries, according to police reports.
The passenger vehicle was making its way from Manwal to Nagrota when it encountered trouble near Battal at approximately 3:45 pm. A police officer indicated that the driver had lost control of the vehicle, leading to the disastrous outcome.
Rescue operations revealed one unidentified person dead at the scene, while 14 others sustained injuries and were promptly transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
