In a tragic incident, a young man working for an online food delivery firm lost his life after a truck collided with his motorbike in Navi Mumbai. The accident occurred near Kopra in the Kharghar area around 7:30 PM on Tuesday.
The victim, identified as 22-year-old Anjanikumar Mourya, was out on a delivery when the fatal accident happened. The truck, allegedly driven by Vikas Patil, dashed Mourya’s motorbike, leading to his unfortunate demise. He was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
According to police, a case of rash and negligent driving has been registered against the truck driver. However, no arrests have been made so far, and further investigations are underway.
