In a significant leadership change, Castrol has announced the appointment of Kedar Lele as its new Managing Director. Lele will officially take on the role from November 1, 2024, with a five-year mandate.

He will succeed Sandeep Sangwan, who is set to depart on October 31, 2024, to take up another role within BP. Lele's integration into Castrol starts in October 2024, during which he will collaborate closely with Sangwan to ensure a seamless transition, according to a company regulatory filing.

Prior to joining Castrol, Lele was associated with Hindustan Unilever Ltd, bringing with him a wealth of experience from the consumer goods sector.
