Realty major DLF is set to expand its business portfolio by developing new residential and commercial projects in Mumbai and Goa, leveraging growth opportunities in these markets, according to Chairman Rajiv Singh.
In his annual report message to shareholders, Singh emphasized DLF's continued dedication to corporate governance, operational excellence, and the values established by its founders. He noted strong sales bookings over the past two financial years, driven by growing demand for luxury homes, and announced a 15% growth target in sales for 2024-25, aiming to reach Rs 17,000 crore in bookings.
DLF plans to launch multiple luxury housing projects across Gurugram, Goa, and Mumbai. Singh highlighted the consistently high occupancy rates in the company's commercial properties and ongoing investments in new developments in Gurugram, Chennai, Delhi, and Goa.
Singh pointed out that India's economy has made a broad-based recovery, supported by structural and governance reforms. He also praised Prime Minister Modi's leadership for driving forward the vision for 'Viksit Bharat 2047'. He expressed confidence that the real estate sector will significantly contribute to India's economic progress, fostering employment and social growth.
