Krystal, a prominent facilities management company, is keen on hiring Agniveers once their term with the defence services concludes, according to CEO Sanjay Dighe. The company believes that the training Agniveers receive makes them suitable candidates for various roles within the corporate sector.
According to Dighe, these ex-service members can receive attractive remuneration and will not have to remain unemployed even for a short duration. This transition would also allow them to be with their families without the need to migrate, he added.
The company, founded 24 years ago, currently employs over 5,800 security personnel and aims to significantly accelerate its revenue growth while focusing on integrating more technology in its operations and expanding into newer sectors like waste and sewerage management. Technology will be pivotal in enhancing business opportunities and profit margins.
