Indian Railways Cancels Trains Due to Protests in Bangladesh

The cancellations are attributed to violent protests in Bangladesh demanding an end to the job quota system, which has severely impacted normal life in several regions.

Citing 'unavoidable circumstances,' an Eastern Railway official confirmed the cancellation of the 13108 Kolkata-Dhaka Maitree Express. Further, the 13129/13120 Kolkata-Khulna Bandhan Express will remain canceled on Sunday due to uncertainties in rake availability.
