Amit Shah Hails Pro-Development Budget 2024-25

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said Budget 2024-25 will fuel the country's pace on the path of emerging as a developed nation by ushering in a new era of employment and opportunities.

He also said the budget reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ''unwavering commitment'' to driving economic growth by bolstering India's entrepreneurial power and ease of doing business.

Shah noted that the budget provides relief to taxpayers by simplifying the tax assessment rules.

The budget exemplifies the country's newfound sense of purpose, hope, and optimism under the NDA government, Shah said.

''Harnessing the power of Bharat's youth, Nari Shakti, and farmers, the budget fuels the nation's pace on the path of emerging as a developed nation by ushering in a new era of employment and opportunities,'' he wrote on X with the hashtag #BudgetForViksitBharat.

The home minister said the budget is a reflection of the resolve of the NDA government under the leadership of Modi to fulfill the hopes, aspirations, and trust of the countrymen.

''This budget is an important step towards building a developed and self-reliant India by empowering the youth and women as well as providing many opportunities for farmers,'' he said.

Shah expressed heartfelt gratitude to the prime minister and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the ''pro-people and pro-development visionary budget''.
