Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor Nears Completion
The Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor has completed 80 km of its total 82 km stretch. With 25 stations, the Namo Bharat trains have already started operating on a 34-km section. The full corridor is expected to be operational by 2025, reducing travel time between Delhi and Meerut to under an hour.

The Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor has completed the construction of 80 km of the total 82 km stretch, officials announced on Thursday.
Stations along the corridor are being rapidly built, with just a two-km section in Meerut remaining. The Namo Bharat trains are already operating on a 34-km section between Sahibabad and Modi Nagar North in Ghaziabad, covering eight RRTS stations.
The target is to have the entire 82-km RRTS Corridor operational by 2025, enabling passengers to travel from Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi to Modipuram in Meerut in less than an hour.
